I personally felt that the resident card system is full of shit.
Here are my concerns.
1) We are required to write our name if we don’t have the resident card. How would you know if what we write there is true?
2) Let say what we wrote on register book is true, so what? If anything happens in vista, are you going to have the hundreds of names in the book investigated?
3) The management threatens that if we do not have the resident card, we will be embarrassed. What on earth? This is an intimidation!
4) Why are we needed to carry cards to enter our own house?
5) This is the most important. Who are the beneficiaries of this resident card system? The cards basically worth less than RM2. Where the balances go? Where is transparency?
There are much more concerns about this resident card system but above are the main ones. I don’t really know which ‘smart’ guy came up with this ‘smart’ idea. To me, it is all bull shit.
Why not come up with ideas like CCTV along secluded pathways, escape staircase and increase the number of patrols around vista B? Why not make sure that every single guard in vista B carries a name tag for proper identification (so far, I don’t notice a tag even if they carry one around. Probably that’s because they don’t usually wear it).
And, the guard told me once that without the resident card, I can’t book the badminton hall and can’t use the swimming pool. So, can I don’t pay the maintenance fees?
I plead to the management to start using your head when trying to solve the rising crime problems in vista B. Use more common sense instead of coming up with this stupid resident card system.
My resolution is, abolish the resident card system. Make a refund to all those who have applied. Think of a better way to solve the problem. Remember, your job is to ensure the comfort of the residents…
